  10. The GraphicsENGINE DRAM 32 card is fully VGA compatible. It supports all
  11. the standard VGA modes. In addition to the standard VGA modes, the 
  12. GraphicsENGINE DRAM 32 supports ENHANCED modes which offer higher 
  13. resolutions with more colors. Drawing is accelerated by the drawing engine on 
  14. the GraphicsENGINE DRAM 32 card. The enhanced modes are not VGA compatible 
  15. and need special drivers for the various applications to run in these modes.

  17. The Windows 3.X display drivers and CAD/UTILITY for the ACTIX GraphicsENGINE
  18. DRAM 32 are provided on two diskettes.

  20. Drivers are provided for the following applications/environments:

  23.    OS/2 2.0/2.01 Drivers
  24.    Autodesk ADI4.2 (Protected Mode) Display List Driver
  25.    Microstation PC Protected Mode
  26.    Microstation PC Real Mode

  30.    VersaCad
  31.    Microsoft Word 5.0
  32.    LOTUS/SYMPHONY
  33.    WordPerfect
  34.    GEM/VENTURA PUBLISHER

  36. To install the display drivers, insert Disk #1 in the A: or B: drive, use 
  37. the DOS CD command to change to the A: or B: drive as appropriate and the type
  38. INSTALL (return).  Then choose the drivers you wish to install from the
  39. Installer Menu.

  41. ACTIX is continuously working to improve software driver performance, and to
  42. add drivers for new versions of supported application software.

  47. Except for INSTALL.EXE, all the .EXE files are self extracting compressed 
  48. files and should not be run directly; therefore, whenever you need to install 
  49. a new driver please run INSTALL.EXE ONLY.
